Goodbye 2020, Hello 2021!
If there’s something we can all agree on, it might be that we’re happy to put 2020 behind us. This year has challenged us all beyond our wildest dreams, so in this newsletter I’d like to focus on some of the beauty that was created during this time. Many people – myself included – turned their attention to beautifying their homes since we’re spending a lot more time indoors these days!
A huge thank you to my fabulous clients for sending us their photos and allowing me to share their work with the world. My team and I delight in seeing every single wallpaper install photo that comes into our inbox. I could only include a few in this post, but follow me on Instagram to see more mural inspiration throughout the year!
Aldsworth Natural for
C2 Limited Design Associates
C2 Limited Design Associates was commissioned to develop the interiors of the Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, New York. Co-Director of Design, Christina Romann, led the way in this multimillion dollar clubhouse renovation. Founded in 1901, this country club has a rich history, of which our Aldsworth Natural mural is now a part. This particular scenic is fantastic for the high ceilings and inset panels of this historic ballroom design. Order samples of this mural wallpaper here.

Marissa Pope Design
Marissa Pope says this powder bath is one of her favorite projects, and it’s got to be one of mine, too. This one features the Aldsworth Natural mural wallpaper. I love the magic she created in such a small space – she accomplished a stunning collaboration between classic and contemporary, organic and geometric, black and white and colorful. She said in her Instagram post, “Susan Harter Muralpapers makes my heart sing. It’s so lovely. Thank you for the beautiful paper and for the fun experience in getting the mural just right.” As you can imagine, that made my heart sing. Photography by Rebekah Westover. Cotswolds Mist for
Sonia Esler
This is one of those incredibly sweet clients who we had the rare pleasure of working with twice. When Sonia first reached out to us, she confessed that she has always wanted to do a dining room mural but has always had too much wall art to go through with it. Then, after a lot of searching online and not liking results, an opportunity arose in her home around the same time she discovered us on Pinterest! Her space is small, and her hope was to open up the room with a scenic wallpaper. A little while later, after the family moved into a new home, her interior designer M. Lavender Interiors reached out about doing a second mural, Cotswolds Mist. We were delighted. When all was said and done, she said that “every day with this mural is a beautiful day!” – music to my ears! You can follow her charming Instagram here. Rowlandson True for
Dewing Schmid Kerns Architects + Planners
Your bedroom should be a soothing and dreamy place in which to drift to sleep, and a refreshing place to wake up. That’s why I think bedrooms are the perfect place for a soft, painterly wall mural. Dewing Schmid Kerns Architects + Planners created enchantment in their client’s bedroom with Rowlandson True.
